U.S. PCE Inflation Release Calendar
U.S. PCE inflation release dates, verified headline and core readings and related WFN coverage.
What it measures
The personal consumption expenditures price index tracks changes in the prices of goods and services purchased by consumers. BEA publishes it as part of the Personal Income and Outlays release. Core PCE excludes food and energy.
Read it correctly
Identify whether a reading is monthly or annual and whether it is headline or core. PCE and CPI have different coverage, weights and methods, so equal-looking percentages are not interchangeable. Automatic checks use dated BEA releases; previous monthly values retain the revision vintage stated in that publication.
